Unsaturated Polyester Resin (UPR)

Unsaturated Polyester Resin (UPR) is a widely used thermosetting polymer with important applications in several fields due to its excellent mechanical, chemical resistance and electrical insulation properties. The following are some of the major application areas:

1. Building materials: UPR is used in the manufacture of fibreglass reinforced plastic (FRP) products such as roof tiles, wall panels, flooring and anti-corrosion coatings.
